Retirement Properties Spotlight in Aboyne

Aboyne: Aboyne is a village between Ballater and Banchory on the A93 to the northeast of the Cairngorms National Park. The village has shops including two banks, inns and restaurant. The Highland Games in August were first instituted in the mid 19th century and Aboyne Castle was built to control a crossing of the River Dee. The grounds of the castle are used as a fishing beat on the Upper Dee.
