Find retirement developments in some of the finest towns and villages in Five Ash Down
Five Ash Down is a small village to the west of Buxted and lies about two miles north of Uckfield.
Uckfield has grown considerably in the 20th century with good north-south communications and a mainline railway station. Today there are several supermarkets and a good range of high street names and shops. Nearby is the famous woodland garden created by the 1st Lord Sheffield in the 18th century. The Wealden woods although much reduced still provide excellent walking country.
Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service.
