Winnersh : Winnersh lies just to the east of Reading south of Woodley and to the west of Wokingham. In the 12th century it was known as Wenesse and probably derived its name from 'Ploughed field by a meadow'. Reading itself is an old settlement and mentioned in Domesday as 'Redinges' having six mills and more than five fisheries and belonged to the king.
Stevens Court is situated towards the east end of the Reading Road and consists of 40 flats completed in 2006.
