Retirement Properties Spotlight in Llandeilo

Llandeilo is a small market town named after St Teilo on the River Towy close to the Brecon Beacons National Park. By the 9th century it had become an important religious centre and later a prosperous medieval market town serving a wide farming area. There is still a farmers' market on a Saturday. There are many places of interest nearby including the remains of Talley Abbey, Dinefwr Castle on the River Tywi and Carreg Cennen Castle. Llandeilo railway station s on the Heart of Wales Line.
