Retirement Properties Spotlight in Wootton Bassett

Royal Wootton Bassett is a small town north west of the Marlborough Downs. It consists largely of a long and wide high street with a variety of shops, inns and restaurants. At the centre of the town stands the Town Hall on fifteen stone columns, complete with the ducking-stool and stocks, built in the early C18th. Nearby is Lydiard Park, the ancestral seat of the Viscounts Bolingbroke, with its beautiful parkland and woodlands.
