Retirement Properties Spotlight in West Lavington

Lavington is mentioned in Domesday as Laventone with three mills and over the years has become two villages, Market Lavington, once a market town, and West Lavington. The villages were situated about five miles south of Devizes on the edge of the Salisbury Plain. All Saints church dates to the 12th century with several later additions and the village has a shop and a pub. Market Lavington is less than two miles away and has more shops.
