Find retirement developments in some of the finest towns and villages in Tyn-y-Gongl
Anglesey is connected to Wales via the Menai Bridge - Telford‘s famous suspension bridge built in the early 19th century. After crossing the ‘straits‘ you bear right and down into the town beyond which is Beaumaris with its castle so named from the Norman beau marais meaning ‘beautiful marsh‘ by the Bay of Conwy.
The island has had a turbulent history. It was once the centre of Druidism and the Britons of Anglesey were finally overcome by Paulinus who destroyed their sacred oak groves and thereafter defeated Boadicea. Later the Danes ravaged the area as did the English. Today it is its own county and whilst largely flat is very attractive.
Facilities include non-resident management staff and community alarm service, lounge, guest facilities and garden.
