Find retirement developments in some of the finest towns and villages in Newtown
Newtown lies in the upper reaches of the River Severn and for a time the Cambrian mills became one of the largest Welsh woollen mills. The industry eventually declined and Newtown became a 'new town' again in the 20th century expanding considerably. The town has a station and the Oriel Davies gallery is well known for its contemporary art and craft.
