Hadlow : Hadlow, originally spelt Hadloe, is an ancient small town and is mentioned in the Domesday Book as having a church, two mills and twelve fisheries. It lies on a tributary of the River Medway a few miles north west of Tonbridge in one of Kent‘s hop growing districts. The attractive church lies just off the centre and has a fourteenth century timbered tower and spire. There are many interesting places to visit nearby including Broadview Garden, Old Soar Manor and Yalding Organic Garden as well as Haysden Park, and Penshurst Place.
