Edenbridge is a small town on the River Eden about ten miles west of Tonbridge. Its name is thought to derive from 'Eadhelm's bridge' and there are several old houses in the main street. Haxted Mill and museum lie on the Lingfield Road and The Old Crown Inn dates to the early 16th century.
