Retirement Properties Spotlight in Chepstow

Chepstow is an old market town on the River Wye famous for its castle built in the 12th century and the town walls which still stretch along the cliff top. The castle was captured by the Roundheads in the civil war and the Marten Tower is named after Henry Marten who lived there having signed King Charles I's death warrant. The town retains much of its medieval character with narrow and winding streets. Chepstow Racecourse hosts the Welsh National and the Welsh Champion Hurdle.
