Retirement Properties Spotlight in Llantwit Major

Llantwit Major : Llantwit Major is a small coastal town on the south coast of Wales from where St Patrick is thought to have been seized by pirates and taken to Ireland. St Illitud founded a monastery here at the turn of the 5th century and it was an important centre of learning in post-Roman Britain. The town grew up around its monastery and nearby are the remains of the Roman Villa at Caermead.
