Cowbridge is a medieval walled town on the site of a Roman settlement about 12 miles west of Cardiff. It largely developed in the 13th century after receiving its first borough charter and later became famous for holding the first meeting of the Gorsedd in the 18th century. The high street has a number of Georgian houses and there is a good range of shops. The Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival takes place every year and the Music Festival every autumn.
Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service, lift, lounge, guest facilities and garden.
