Yatton is a village near the river Yeo in North Somerset about ten miles southwest of Bristol and just to the east of the M5. It is mentioned in Domesday as Latune and belonged to the Bishop of Wells. The rectory dates from the 15th century and Sir John Newton is buried in St Marys Church. Pages Court is the local shopping precinct and has several shops and a supermarket.
