Pucklechurch lies at the south western edge of the Cotswolds and is an old settlement with a long history. In AD 946 King Edmund I was murdered here. The church of St Thomas a Becket dates from Norman times and there are several very old houses in the village. The village is in a conservation area and there are all the amenities that one expects in a busy village. The local shops provide for most daily needs and there is a Post Office and medical practice.
Pucklechurch is about nine miles north of Bath and Badminton, Cirencester and Cheltenham are all within easy reach.
