Retirement Properties Spotlight in Wimbledon Common

Wimbledon Common is a Site of Special Scientific interest and the largest of the three commons. It is also a Special Area of Conservation with the second largest hill fort in London. With its proximity to London Wimbledon grew in popularity with wealthy merchants moving out of the city. Fortunately an attempt to enclose the common in the 18th century failed and Wimbledon remains a very sort after place to live.
