Retirement Properties Spotlight in Southport

Southport: One of Southport's major attractions is the Botanical centre and it is also is renowned for its elegant spacious tree-lined boulevard offering access to a mulitude of shops and amenities. The Atkinson Art Gallery is well worth visiting and also the speciality shops in the Cambridge Arcade where there is a bust of Dan Dare, dedicated to the creators of the children‘s weekly ‘Eagle‘ in Southport in 1950 and donated by the Eagle Society in April 2000. Nearby is the restored Christ Church which had to be redeveloped in the late 1980‘s as the foundations partially collapsed.
