Fleetwood is a port and resort opposite Knott-on-Sea to the north of the Fylde peninsula and became famous for its deep water trawlers. It was laid out in the early 19th century by Sir Peter Fleetwood and today is better known for its container ships serving Northern Ireland. The town has a long promenade reaching down to Cleveleys and has a sandy beach good for swimming. The Marine Hall has a model yacht lake and is set in gardens on the seafront.
Facilities will include non-resident management staff with lift, lounge, dining room and activities room.
