Fotherby is an old village about four miles north of Louth and about ten miles south of Cleethorpes. It is mentioned in Domesday as Fodrebi. St Marys Church was originally built in the 13th century and is is listed Grade II. It was rebuilt in the 19th century by James Fowler incorporating the three 17th century bells.
