Retirement Properties Spotlight in Linby

Linby was mentioned in Domesday as Lidebi and had a mill and still today there is stream and converted Castle Mill with water wheel. Small streams known as Linby Docks also run on both sides of the main street. The church of St Michael dates back to the 13th century and stone crosses nearby are thought to mark the ancient boundaries of Sherwood Forest. The Village lies about eight miles north of Nottingham.
