Winkton is a village about two miles north of Christchurch in the Avon valley bordering the New Forest. Christchurch retains all its original beauty standing comfortably between the Rivers Avon and Stour. The magnificent Priory was built by William II in the 11 century. Smuggling naturally became a popular business in the 18th century and today there are attractive walks down to the Quay and harbour.
Facilities include non-resident management and emergency alarm service and garden.
