Find retirement developments in some of the finest towns and villages in Ravenstone
Ravenstone was mentioned in Domesday as Ravenstorp and had two mills. It is situated in the National Forest where ancient woodland is mixed with new trees to create a new forest which stretches from Leicester to Burton on Trent hopefully linking with the ancient forests of Needwood and Charnham. The area has long been settled with evidence of coin minting dating back to the 3rd century. These early settlements were later destroyed and now form part of the Sence Valley Forest Park.
