Retirement Properties Spotlight in Bottesford

Bottesford is the counties largest village and was mentioned in Domeday as Bottesford and had six mills. St Mary The Virgin's church is the counties biggest village church with the tombs of the Earls of Rutland and monuments by Gringling Gibbons. The village is about 15 miles north of Melton Mowbray and was originally built by the ford over the River Devon. There are many listed buildings and the stocks and whipping post are Grade II listed.
