Shustoke is an old village about three miles east of Coleshill and was mentioned in Domesday as Scotescote. The parish church of St Cuthberts was built in the early 14th century and has reused Norman masonry. Coleshill is well placed for the road and rail network in the south of England. It is just off the M6 to the east of Birmingham and Junction 4 is less than two miles away and Junction 8 of the M42 is also about two miles away. Birmingham city centre is about 11 miles. Trains from Marston Green to Birmingham take about 15 minutes and Birmingham International Airport is about six miles
