Retirement Properties Spotlight in Bidford-on-Avon

Bidford-on-Avon : Bidford-on-Avon is mentioned in Domesday as Bedeford and was an ancient settlement having belonged to King Edward. It is about seven miles south-west of Straford-upon-Avon and Th Falcon Inn, where Shakespeare stayed, became famous in the nineteenth century for entertaining German huntsmen. Today the fifteenth century bridge takes traffic south of the town and there is a range of shops and attractive river walks with a golf course nearby.
