Craven Arms : Onibury is a small village off the A49 about three miles south of Craven Arms which is a small market town surrounded by beautiful countryside. Craven Arms is a relatively new town taking its name from the inn of the same name and developed in the 19th century largely with the coming of the railways. It is now a popular tourist destination and considered to be the 'Gateway to the Marches'. Stokesay Castle is the oldest fortified manor house in Engalnd dating to the 13th century and belongs to English Heritage as a Grade I listed building.
