Retirement Properties Spotlight in Milton-under-Wychwood

Milton-under-Wychwood is an old settlement and is mentioned in Domesday as Mideltone and belonging to Ranulf Flambard. It was once a royal hunting forest much of which survives today through the continuing activities of The Wychwood Conservation Project. Today the village is a thriving community with many activities, meetings and talks in the Village Hall.

There are also many sports clubs including tennis, bowls, cricket and football and within the new Beaconsfield Hall in Shipton-under-Wychwood there is a gym. Also within the village is a doctors surgery, dentist, post office, library, hairdressers, garage and supermarket.
