Cowley : Cowley is mentioned in Domesday and was an ancient parish originally spelt Covelie in Middlesex but is now part of Greater London. The town is just to the east of The Grand Union Canal about four miles north east of Iver in the Colne Valley Regional Park. Little Britian and Huntsmoor Park are easliy accessed off Packet Boat Lane. There are several golf courses nearby, numerous parks and places of interest to visit including Cedar House in Hillingdon, a beautiful red-brick sixteenth century property as well as Brunel University off Hilllingdon Hill Road.
