Retirement Properties Spotlight in Stokesley

Stokesley was mentioned in Domesday as Stocheslage and had a church and a mill. It remains a farming area and is an attractive market town about eight miles south of Middlesbrough on the River Leven. There are many listed buildings and a range of shops and independent retailers, pubs and restaurants.There is a weekly market and the annual agricultural show and fair is a highlight of the year.
