Berkswell is an old village with a late 12th century parish church and one of the finest crypts in the country. It lies about six miles west of Coventry and has several fine village houses, a village green and its own station. Berkswell Nature Reserve is off Marsh Lane and its windmill still has its original machinery. The church of St John Baptist is a Grade II listed building and also has a rare Sanctus Bell discovered during restoration work in the 21st century.
