Retirement Properties Spotlight in Forfar

Forfar : Forfar lies about 12 miles north of Dundee and is now by- passed by the A90 which leads to Aberdeen. Glamis Castle is about five miles away. The area has long been settled and there are many Pictish stones in and around the town and the Romans had a camp three miles to the north. Today Forfar relies on tourism and agriculture for its well being. The area is noted for its beautiful scenery and Forfar Loch Country Park is a well known walking venue.
