Arthington Court is situated off East Parade close to shops in the centre of Harrogate. The development consists of 47 flats and was completed in 1993.

The beneficial properties of the waters first came to light in the seventeenth century and as the curative powers grew so did the town. The Royal Baths opened in 1897 and quickly became one of the largest hydrotheraphy establishments in the world. Today Harrogate is an elegant flourishing town with wide open spaces, excellent shops, and many fine Victorian and Edwardian houses. There are frequent local bus and train services giving easy access to the nearby cities of Leeds and York.

Harrogate is about eight miles from Junction 47 of the A1(M). Rippon is about 9 miles York about 20 miles and Leeds 16 miles. Trains from Harrogate to Leeds take a little over half an hour.
