The Allhallows Museum still displays lace for which the town was famous.

Communications:

Honiton is about eighteen miles east of Exeter on the A30 and about nineteen miles west of Ilminster. Sidmouth and the south coast is about 11 miles and Axminster 11 miles. The M5 at junction 28 is 11 miles and Ottery st Mary about five miles. Fast trains to London (Waterloo) take just over three hours.
